Planning to send this out in a few days! Thought to check before I did so.

Here is what I have so far:

1. I-130 form, filled out

2. My G-325A, filled out, signed by me

3. My spouse's G-325A, filled out, signed by my spouse.

4. Passport style photo of myself.

5. Passport style photo of my spouse.

6. Photocopy of marriage certificate in Urdu

7. Scanned copy of translation (not English original, see below for clarification) of marriage certificate, certified.

8. Scanned copy of wedding invitation card (might be able to dig up an actual printout)

9. Photos of us during the wedding (4 or 5?)

10. Photos of us with and without family after the wedding (5 or 6?)

11. One or two affidavits in connection with the I-130 stating that the marriage is bona fide.

12. Copy of Western Union paperwork used to send money overseas.

13. Copy of life insurance beneficiary information (spouse)

14. Copy of health insurance information (added spouse to policy at work)

I also have an english copy of the marriage certificate with official seal and all, but was worried that it may confuse USCIS/NVC since Pakistan just recently started offering this to those who wanted it (yes, I have two marriage certificates, one in English, one in Urdu); this being the case, I am not sure if I should include that or not.

How's it look?

Letters?

I can send telephone records, good idea

Oh yea, forgot each of our birth certificates.. lol

I also have a copy of my spouse's secondary school graduation certificate, which includes my spouse's date of birth. Would that be a good thing to send too?

Should I include her secondary school certificate (further proof of her date of birth)?

Passport photocopy?

Phone logs? (should I write a note indicating that the destination number is in fact hers?)

If I mail her a letter (now), and she gets the envelope back to me somehow, would that also be good evidence?

Payment = the filing fee ($420 for I-130)? Personal check okay?

What about my spouse's passport copy (again, for DOB purposes, and for ID purposes)

yes personal check from US bank account is ok just make sure you have the US department of homeland security written in full and write for "I-130 filing fee and have ur name address and phone # written on top of check if not pre printed. I added my A # just in case.

if she has her birth cert then passport is not needed for proof of birth at this stage but it does not hurt to add it ( u wnt be penalized)

By the way, the birth certificates, passport biodata pages, marriage certificate, marriage certificate translation, etc, are all photocopies. This should be fine right? (frankly speaking, how else would one do it?)

Do I organize these in any certain way in the envelope, or sortof just throw them all in there?

Hi! Hope this checklist would help: This is how we do with ours.

G-1145

Money order

Cover letter, signed and dated

FI-130

Marriage Certificate

Birth Certificate/passport of Petitioner

Copy of termination of previous marriages (if any)

G-325A of Petitioner/photo

G-325A of Beneficiary/photo

Proof of on-going relationship (make cover pages to specify contents) Use paper clips and clamp them altogether.

Goodluck!
