Yes, you need to bring all previous passports to the interview. He has to also list all of the places he has lived for longer than 6 months after the age of 16, and he needs to get police clearance certificates from those countries.. No one knows if he will be put in AP, it's on a case to case basis. I don't understand this part of your post Thats gona be obvi islamabad embassy" please try not to use abbreviations, they are difficult to understand. Any person from the middle east has a higher chance of AP, especially men, because of the high incidence of fraud cases. He must, no matter what be 100% honest on all forms and applications in this process. If you he is considering not telling where he has been and traveled to and lived, trust me they know and can find out. Not telling the truth carries severe consequences. There is a forum here "middle east and north africa' If you go there you will find lots of people from that part of the world who are going through the process or have been through it, they can share their experiences with you. My husband is from Jordan, he is here now, he had his interview in July and was put into AP for about 10 weeks. We prepared ourselves beforehand for AP, so when he did get it we weren't surprised. We also understood that is a necessary part of the process, the consulate has a job to do, they had my best interest and the best interest of the country in mind. Good luck in your process, and go over he the middle east forum, you will meet lots of others from Pakistan. Here is the link www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa

Just to clarify, Pakistan is not Middle East, it's Asia/South....already made that mistake with my friend when we first met...lol However, I'm sure they are treated as harshly or more so as those who apply for visas from the Middle East....

I am sure there are many on the boards who haven't gone through AP when from Pakistan, but I do believe that most can safely assume that applicants from Pakistan will go through AP.

And I believe the Asia:South Forum may be a better place for you to get region-specific questions answered http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/91-asia-south/
