I overnighted the K-1 package to the Texas Service Center on 01-18-2013! I hope that this process goes smoothly. I waited until I came back from January trip to include more photos of us together. Please keep your fingers crossed for me!

Just a minor correction. You did not send your package to the Texas Service Center. You sent your I-129F petition to the Dallas Lockbox intake facility. The Texas Service Center does not receive nor process I-129F petitions. From the Dallas Lockbox, where all petitions are mailed, it will be sorted and sent to one of the only two service centers that process the I-129F petitions, Vermont or California.

I sent it to the lock box, sorry for the confusion. A little excited and nervous all at the same time.

You are good. I just wanted to clear that up since lots of people get confused about it. Many people put the TSC in their profiles which messes up their timelines because the TSC does not even process the I-129F petitions. A lot of folks see the address to send it to is in Texas so they automatically assume it is the TSC.

Hope you get a speedy approval!

Best of luck fellow January filer. We got our first response (NOA1) by text within the week. So now it's hunker down for the big wait

During which period you will probably like me realise how much you have to prepare for the both the arrival of NOA2 and the actual move.....

A week, thats cool that means the text should come any day now! I have kind of prepared for the big move myself by moving out of my flat in with a friend, so seriously having to downsize everything i.e throwing things away and shipping stuff off to the parents! Now I best prepare for the arrival of the NOA2. Looks like thats going to be a ton of effort! What kind of stuff have you done to prepare for the NOA2?

What kind of stuff have you done to prepare for the NOA2?

Nothing in terms of the visa process as it's probably at best 4-5 months off. My immediate priority concerns my house and business. I have lots to do with those before I am ready for the arrival of the NOA2. Needless to say the passage of time will start to accelerate as I get nearer the NOA2 and I'll be panicking but at least I know where to go to get all the info I need. The one thing I will definitely be doing is continuing to document my relationship in terms of boarding passes and passport stamps. They are likely to be my partner's as she's be doing two trips to the UK.
