Who is excited for the new waiver

The waiver is for someone who has accumulated unlawful presence in the US. Previously this person would have had to go to their home country for the interview. They would be denied and have to file a waiver while waiting in their home country for it to be approved. This new policy allows the immigrant to apply for the waiver before they are denied. Meaning once they go to the interview they will be approved and not have to spend any more time out of the country.

Im not sure about this new form seems like its a new way of deporting people. Think about it. this form will allow illegal immigrants who are now in hiding to apply a parole. then they will go back to there respective contries then the government will make sure their papers will be at the bottom of the farthest office possible and it will take years to process. Thus sending them home legally without any political issues like being races and deporting certain nationality. Just an idea. But if it really works then great. Good bless to everyone

The waiver provisional is for immediate relatives of U.S. citizens who are not eligible to adjust status in the United States to become lawful permanent residents(entered in the USA without inspection) then after March 03 2013 they can submit form I-601 A,if they have a form I-130 approved, once approved the waiver they will attend the interview in their home Country.

loverules I don't have to submit the waiver, but I am very happy that finally the waiver will be in effect on March 03,2013. Good luck.

Most people here have been jumping through all the legal hoops from the start so it will not effect them except maybe causing their petitions or applications to be delayed or processed slower due to the certain flood of waivers this will most likely generate. I can assure you though everyone over at immigrate2us.net is most likely jumping with joy at this time.

I don't think many people at all here are excited for this waiver because it really makes no difference to the majority of us.

I'm not excited for the new waiver. On the contrary I worry it will slow down legal immigrants processing time since it will be overwhelming applications in March and USCIS will slow down everything. :bonk:

I don't think it will effect much. These people would have probably applied for the visa and waivers anyway. It just changes when in the timeline people apply.

I hope this is not seriously enough to delay the processing of our I-130. We are going to submit ours soon and this doesn't seem like good news at all.

Making all the legal immigrants like my wife to wait while they process all the paperwork for all these illegal immigrants .... just seems wrong.

I would certainly like to see the solid evidence that the new waiver cases are being processed ahead of legal immigration cases. Other than someone believing that waiver cases are getting approved before their own, where is the evidence of this?

If you are a USC or GC holder and did it legal, you get delayed. All the illegal's and their processing should go to the back of the bus not the ones who did it correctly.

Is is true? I asked for evidence showing that legal filers were delayed or pushed back because of this, and nobody bothered to reply. Is it really the case, or is it just someone frustrated whose case is taking longer than usual assuming that the system is favoring "illegals" over them? Always looking for someone to pin the blame on... we can't pin the blame on the inefficient government just letting our forms sit around, can we.
