You shouldn't sent your actual certified or original copies of anything. Just photocopies of the certified items is fine. I'm referring to your marriage certificate and divorce decree items. Those go in as photocopies at this stage. Hang on the the certified copies for later.

I also bought extra certified copies of our marriage certificate HOWEVER each one has as different number on it. So I sent a photocopy of one, so that the original I present has the same number on it. Not sure what yours looks like but that's my additional two cents.

Any joint bank accounts? Showing a "comingling of financial assests" is a biggie with them. Also if you have any purchased or rental property with both of your names on it would be good. Did you add your wife to your health insurance? That can also help. If you filed joint taxes together that would also show your marital relationship. It wouldn't hurt. Copies of phone records, emails, chats that show that you two have been in continuing communication with each other. As they say, "if you got 'em use 'em".

is your timeline accurate? if so, that's pressing it, on I-130 submittal, unless you bribed the clerks to do fast turn around on the marriage certificate.

Might want to think to generate other bonafide marriage evidence..

I did all this within a month of returning from China:

Yup timelines correct, if anyone's not noticed we're getting married tomorrow :)

You mean pressing it for picking the certificate up? Its a civil ceremony and we are going over to the courthouse on Monday to get a copy of the marriage certificate, the do copies of the certificate while we wait as we are taking over the signed documents from the civil service. All we have to do is put the certificate in the package and mail it off, everything else is done.

Any joint bank accounts? Showing a "comingling of financial assests" is a biggie with them.

The statement "is a biggie" is not correct, USCIS adjudicators and Consular Officers will not expect a couple living apart in separate countries to have things like joint bank accounts or comingled financial assets.
