Hi,

I called them this morning for our Case #. Our NOA2 date is 12/27/12.

Dial 603-334-0700

HAVE READY

A)your Receipt number (the number you used to look up your case status on USCIS website)

B)YOUR date of birth

C)your fiance(e)s date of birth.

They are only there from like 7:30 to 12 or something like that...I know they stop taking calls at 12 EST. So call now! Despite people talking about a wonderful automated system...that was dumped back in the spring, so if you don't call during the few hours they are operational you are out of luck.

They were VERY VERY kind to me...the call took all of 2 minutes. I received our case number, but was informed the file had not been sent on to the embassy as of yet.

I hope this helps!

Mailed package: 6/28/12
NOA1 rec'd: 7/03/12
NOA2 rec'd:/ 12/27/12

Approved Dec 14 & case received in NVC 3rd week of December. No case number assigned yet, I tried to call this morning but the line is busy. blush.gif

If the line is busy, keep calling, but be prepared to be on hold for a long time. You can call up until midnight I believe.

My NOA2 was Dec.20. Got my NVC number and IIN number on Dec.31. Already emailed DS-3032, paid AoS bill, and mailed AoS (received by them last Friday). Now I'm just waiting for them to process the DS-3032 and invoice the DS-230 bill.

As soon as you get your NVC case number, things will start rolling pretty quick.

Just to clarify 12 EST is not 12 noon. They are there from 7am until MIDNIGHT EST.

Also, I got my NOA2 on December 11th and didn't get case number until January 2nd. You should be able to get yours any day now but you'll need to call in each day.

Yes, I know. One time I waited close to an hour and other times 20 mins or so. I don't really mind waiting that long.

I got case number, IIN & choice of agent last Dec 31 for my other petition. I am just waiting for the other one so I can proceed with both petitions at the same time.

It did went fast with the first one. In a matter of 24 hrs I got case number when I called & received the emails with the PDF.

As soon as you get your NVC case number, things will start rolling pretty quick.

Dear all, I am working on getting the case number. Please instruct ahead of time, what's next when I get the case number? Is that I should ask NVC to send me an email containing IIN, DS-3230? Is there a website I should go to and use my case number to start things rolling? Thanks! :help:
