Hello everyone I'm new to this site and this is my first post, few days ago I submit a service request to CSC regarding my case status as it already past 5 months and this is what I received -------This notice acknowledges receipt of your status inquiry concerning your pending I-129f application. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending application and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints.---- :help:

Anyone can enlighten me what is the meaning of this or someone out there who got the same reply..Your reply is highly appreciated

Thank you and Happy New Year to all

Sorry, we are processing Deferred Adjudication Cases and have no time to look at your casefile

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

What Darnell said...

OP, when were you able to file your service request? They received my petition 7/20 but when I tried to file the service request 12/27 they told me I couldn't because it was still in the processing timeline (they were working on 7/16). Did you file it with a Tier 2?

*** Thread moved from Effects of Major Changes forum to K-1 Case Progress subforum -- topic involves I-129F case status. ***

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

File for a service request to tier 2 and they will give a referral no. After a week or two you will receive a letter from the USCIS stating that your case is under review and you will have to wait for 60 days. But actually 60 days is just a generic answer. I had filed for a service request and after 2 weeks i got a letter from the USCIS. Then after 5 days I got approved.

Here is a link for you to get an idea about tier 1 and tier 2. I used this link when I filed for a service request because our case passed the normal processing time at Vermont. So when you call the USCIS use this guide. Good luck and keep me posted. God bless:)

When you want to file for a service request make sure to speak to a tier 2. When you call, it's the tier 1 who answers your call. Tell the tier 1 that you would like to speak to a tier 2, just be patient enough to wait coz you will be hold on for like 30-40 minutes until you get to speak to a tier2. Just follow the guide. Once you speak to a tier2 dont forget to ask his name and the referral no. Finally, when the tier 2 puts you on a service request, he/she will tell you to expect a letter from the USCIS and sooner you will be approved!! Good luck.
