I am a US Citizen for 7 years and would like to petition my 85 yr old father with accompanying my brother. I know and understand that I can petition my Father but can he accompany by my 45 year old married brother and be a care provider for my Father while he will be in the US? My father is not ill or sick but have dementia/forgetful or somewhat related to "old age" and be needing help with my brother for his stay in the US. How can my brother apply for a certain visa so he can go with the US and take care of my father/

Any help will appreciate a lot!! :help:

To have them come together you need to petition your brother on a sibling petition and in 20 years petition your father , they sould be able to come together in about 23 years. There is no way to have a sibling ride along on a parents petition and if your father needs special care then be prepared to show you will pay for it ( not just meet the affidavit of support)

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You need to petition them separately. Your brother cannot accompany your father merely because your dad is elderly and ill. If that were the case, millions would do it. The only way to bring them together is petition your brother first and wait the 20+ years until your brother's PD then petition your father. If you petition your dad you will also have to show how you plan to take care of his medical expenses and care in addition to the affidavit of support. Good luck

ditto, there is no visa for your brother to come with your father at the same time, you will have to take care of him, and pay for health insurance and everything, if you can't then visit him and pay for his healthcare in his country of origin. you are his healthcare provider since you will be filing for him

you will file for your brother separatly and if he is Filipino then it will take around 23 years,
