I believe you have to be naked in the photographs.

OP, they do state that they don't want you in a jacket. Also, remember that the background has to be white - I've personally known people who've had to get their redone because of background issue.

I even got mine redone before sending in my I-129F because the color was off slightly, making me appear slightly green. Better safe than sorry!

I am the USC/petitioner.

Our K-1 Journey
12/19/2012 - Mailed I-129F via USPS Express
12/21/2012 - I-129F arrives in Lewisville, TX according to USPS tracking (delayed because it's the USPS)
12/21/2012 - NOA1 date of receipt
12/26/2012 - NOA1 received via text/email
12/27/2012 - Checked cashed by USCIS
12/31/2012 - Alien Number changed (NOA1 hardcopy in post, but was away for 2 weeks prior)

05/16/2013 - NOA2 received via text/email

05/20/2013 - NOA2 hardcopy received in post

05/28/2013 - NVC receives packet and assigns London case number

07/15/2013 - Sent all paperwork/medical complete

08/23/2013 - Receive Interview Date

09/19/2013 - Interview

I'm wearing a winter jacket in my picture and was wondering if this will be an issue. I attached the picture to this forum.

Thanks again in advance!post-149069-0-22890700-1356565473_thumb.jpg

It's not a proper passport style photo. Go to the local photo place and have some proper ones taken. Buy a bunch as you will need more for future filings, ASO, etc.

i would advise against having multiple taken at once for future filings because they specifically request photos taken within 60 (90?) days or some such... i don't know how picky they'll be, but if they spell it out for you in the official instructions, better to follow what they say to avoid any hiccups in the process. it's pretty obvious if you resubmit duplicate photos if they were to see it later on.

It's common to take all at the same time, regardless of what you've read....as long as you don't have radical changes between now and then.

i'm 99% sure you're right, i just didn't want to end up with a bogus RFE like "your picture was taken 61 days ago...take it again" BS. lol

Besides the jacket it looks like it does not meet the specifics, like the measurement from chin to top of photo has to be a certain measurement, pic 2"x2" (I think) and a few other measurements. These specifics are listed on uscis site if you search passport. They have examples of right and wrong and the specifications.

Crazy because I had the photo taken at Walgreens, won’t be going back there! But I guess I should have known something was wrong when the girl asked me to place toilet paper over my face.

Your too funny. I had mine taken at Walgreens too and it was horrible. It looked just like the example of a passport pic that was wrong! I had it retaking elsewhere.
