We POE'd on the 23rd. It went very well! Smooth and quick. Took about an hour!

I am so thankful that I got to spend the holidays with my fiance. We are getting settled into our new house.

He went on his first grocery shopping trip this morning after I left for work and was so excited to get paper bags instead of plastic for the groceries. Must be an Canadian thing! :)

Overall, I am so glad this is done and we can get married and focus on life together.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words of encouragement even when I thought I was going to rip my hair out! We made it!!

And looking back, it wasn't that bad at all. :) All the pain of missing each other...is gone. I don't remember what that feels like anymore!

Uggh do not miss those plastic bags or paying the 5 cents at the grocery store for them.

Thanks everyone. Now that I think about it...my fiance got the I94 but we never paid $6 for it. I remember driving away thinking "Hmm, we didn't pay him." Do you think this will be a problem? Or did he just forget to collect the $6.

I dunno if he just forgot to collect it but it shouldn't be a problem. He has the I-94 in his passport- that's the important part :)

Speaking of paper/plastic.

I was just thinking this morning that I couldn't wrap presents in paper bags because I don't think I'd seen them existing anywhere up here.

See my other thread regarding sarnia if you have time?
