Hello to everybody! I am sad and broken hearted and i need help. I might get divorce and lose the man that i love with all my heart :( He is the reason i leave my world... i feel lost and i want to ask where should i start? i have just the work permit, still in process for the green card.

Sorry for your broken heart, only time and caring for yourself can ease the pain.

Do you have any family that you can turn to her in USA? How about any good friendships? A support group.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

:( so sorry. To echo another poster's advice.. any way you can get him to go with you to marriage counseling? There is nothing easy about going thru a divorce and maybe things can be repaired with some counseling... if not, I highly recommend you get counseling on your own. I wish a good outcome for you :)

Start what???? You have not stated what you want. Do you want to stay or go home?

Some people in your position will choose to go home and end the immigration process. Others choose to stay. What do you want?????

Wow, your post sound really mean and rude. The OP is seeking some advise about her relationship, how to proceed from here and weighting her options. She doesn't need people like you being so harsh with her when she's going though so much pain.

You both cannot... just ...give up like this. If you got until this point, after all k1 process ..after all the 7 months waiting, after all the stress with the processing....that mean you love eachother and you wanna be with eachother for the rest of your lives. I understood from your post that he is the man you love..the man of your life...I suppose he loves you too because he bring you to live with him. You both went trough a stressful and complicated k1 process which is ended now. Life together as couple..can be tough sometimes..that doesnt mean the love is just gone. Gone where? Give a try to marriage counseling if you both cannot find any other way. I`m sorry and I cannot imagine how you feel. Wherever happens, be strong, God is with you always.

It might sound harsh to you, but realistically speaking, if you and your spouse don't work on saving the marriage, the only option you have is going home. Currently, your AOS is processed based on your marriage. If your marriage doesn't exist anymore, you have no grounds for AOS/green card and hence you end up getting denied. You get denied - your eligibility for staying in this country is gone. So I guess it is time for you to figure out what exactly in your marriage can be changed and what exactly cannot be. Once you clearly see and understand the difference between the two, you will know what to do. Good luck with whatever you decide, it is a tough spot to be in.
