You are not far outside of normal processing times. Our I-129F took about 6 months. You are at 6 months and 2 weeks. Relax, it is going to be a while.

In USA irrespective of any STATE, by law marrying first or second cousin is not allowed, what is allowed is to marrying cousin first or second removed, I mean third or fourth or faraway cousin, the rule of law is applied strictly by USCIS.

Where do you get this misinformation from? The OP obviously is educated in his states laws so stop that!

Also ummm the embassies are very schooled in whatever countries traditions and laws they are working in. Marrying cousins is very well known and practiced in some of the MENA's, Pakistan and India.

Please don't spread bad misinformation.

OP please rest assure soon you will get good news. You know these service centers have been clogged up.

Just get yourself ready for the next stage okay.
