I agree... a NOA2 is a another step and a important one.. I think everyone should be happy with each step..heck I was happy with the NOA1

You can be happy with the NOA2 but don't go out and plan the party and buy the plane tickets just yet

Have you called them to try to find out why it's taking so long?

Maybe the "petition" would clear out if you stopped changing your fiance. First you were in love int he Ukraine, then you were in love in Mozambique and not you are in love in Uzbekistan. All with the same fiance visa.

We were very happy for our NOA2!!! But it did take CSC a month to send to NVC, and by the time it went to the Moscow embasy we had a interview date much later than expected. However! We still feel blessed After starting to visit this forum before we filled our I-129 back in June 2006, All we had read were horror stories about long waits. These loving & strong couples made it and unfortinately some are still waiting!

My point is that the excitement should be tempered until the file leaves CSC. Of course at that point I did not know that the file would take almost another month to leave CSC..its 3 weeks today.

Mine took not even 2 weeks for NVC to recieve it and send it to the Consulate. I guess the wait time just depends on the petition I guess. It's still ok to get excited whether it takes a week or a month to have it forwarded. I see on your back posts that you seemed pretty excited when you recieved your NOA2 I was so excited when I got mine!

I think people should be excited over each step taken that gets them closer to the visa. It took me 6 months just to get a NOA2, do you think I am going to let the fact that NVC held my case for another month take that excitement away, NO, I was still just as excited that my case had been approved and that I was one step further than I had been before. People just need to be excited if they want to be excited and don't let negative vibes bring them down. After all, having a postive attitude during a process like this can help out a lot. I am just basing this from the experience I went through

Don't pay attention to Matako (I don't - keep him on ignore and don't have to read his posts unless someone responds with a quote).

He obviously doesn't have a "fiance" in Ukraine/Mozambique/Uzbekistan - he's a troll and he's only here to try to piss us off.
