Well there seems to be some truth to the Embassy schedule interviews for the k1 visas the 15th-20th of the month. I called yesterday nothing. Called this morning nothing. Called this afternoon and was told that we have an interview for 1/23 the day before my petition expires. So YAY!!! finally we at least have a date. Just a little sad because was so hoping to be back for Christmas. But at least we will be able to spend the holidays with our family here and our daughter. Still sad :(

congrats my husband is in line for an interview called everyday and today was told do to the heavy load at Jordan he didnt make the december cut for interviews so hopefully he will make it into January we have a 5 month old son he has not met..best of luck to you

Congratulation, I guess there isn't a better way to start the new year??? And save a couple of dollars in booking flights... LOL... I'm hoping I as well make the cut for a January date so I maybe right behind you...LOL

Thanks,another member that was doing the spouse visa said she had heard NVC schedules them the 2nd day of the month. She had got nothing before that and when she and a few other called on the 2nd of the month they got their interview date. So if you don't find out anything soon, try calling NVC on that day. My husband just arrived from Jordan a month ago. I wish you the best of luck with his interview date, and not to burst your bubble, but most men through Amman get AP, my husband had it for 10 weeks, I just think that you should be prepared mentally for it so it won;t be a huge surprised if he gets AP, God forbid. I wish you the best and I hope he gets to meet his baby very soon!!!

Thanks, I am actually living in the DR so she gets to see daddy everyday. I just wanted to have Christmas back in the US with my mom since this is her only granddaughter. She is turning 1 next month so this Christmas is going to be her first one were she will really be getting into everything...lol...just a little sad, but still VERY thankful that this process is almost over. Hopefully no more AP went through that at the NVC stage.
