So, it is 4:50 am Danish time, my husband gets up for work in 40 minutes and I have yet to make his lunch. This is no good.

For the first time ever he saw Mountain Dew in the stores here and purchased it...I drank two of them and I think that might be why I am not sleeping yet. I normally have like a coke and 10 cups of tea a day, so I don't get it. :goofy:

God I hate insomnia. I couldn't sleep Sunday to Monday, couldn't sleep last night, and now this ####### again. I've been up for almost two hours. For most of the time I've been here (got here December 23) something's been off. Cold, bad back, insomnia... I love it here, but this s**t with something being off is getting old. :P

Mountain dew is crack! I actually havent had any yet (only last time I was here in Pittsburgh in 2010) but I will cave sooner or later. I also dig root beer. We have a type of chewing gum in Sweden called Jenka - root beer tastes like liquid Jenka.

Furthermore I like cherry 7up. And I don't even like cherries. Soda (or pop as pittsburghers call it) is definitively my biggest vice.

Yummy! And possibly too exciting for this thread! star_smile.gif

I bake when I am bored. And have too many kinds of flour hanging around... :luv:

I've told him he can never buy it again. I know he was being sweet, but it is really bad for me. Unfortunately, when I was 9 my dad thought it was a good idea to put it in my lunch box and it has been nearly impossible to quit for an extended period time ever since.

I'm having trouble sleeping because I am worried about the I-130 thing and a whole lot of other things...

The people on the corner are gone. My husband noticed that one of their shutters are broken off and a coach lamp has been pulled out of the exterior wall and is hanging by wires. They must have moved in the middle of the night because I didn't see or hear anything. (I am a chained housewife.) Using my crack investigative skills it appears that the house is in pre-foreclosure. It also appears they may have been renters since 2009, though I'm not quite sure about that last bit. One thing I am sure of: someone wasn't happy.

Should this be in the exciting thread?

You get awesome points for liking root beer. My husband hates it. Says it tastes like carbonated toothpaste with vanilla. The other day, I was trying a new product, A&W 10, which is AWESOME, btw. My husband comes in, doesn't look at the bottle or give me any time to say anything, and chugs. The look on his face when he realized it was not what he thought it was was priceless.

It almost makes me want a root beer float, except it is 8am and I don't have any ice cream.

lol Thanks. Root beer... what's not to like? I also like ginger ale btw.

My wife prefers A&W root beer. Of the three or so different brands I've tried, A&W is definitely the best.
