Alright, I've been reading lotsa posts here since last month I guess. I don't have a timeline but we started processing my visa in October of last year and on the 23rd of this month our case at NVC was finally completed so we're now just waiting for a schedule for the interview then I will have to go for a medical exam.

But geez I am insane for having negative thoughts about the medical or interview going wrong, my husband is getting tired of my what ifs and all that pessimism in the Williams' household since we got the letter from NVC haha. Anyhoo, I am happy and excited about this. I just want to be over this process already so we can finally move to the US and start a family. (Yep, hubby is with me, has been since we met in 2009, except for two trips back to the US for family and work)

I am learning a lot here though, thank God for a forum like this. :)

Met in Person: Feb 2009

Got engaged: Aug 2010

Got married: Dec 2010

NOA 1: Oct 13, 2011

I-130 Approved: March 23, 2012

NVC Recieved: May 10, 2012

Case Completed: Oct. 23, 2012

Medical: Nov.17 and 18: passed but went back Nov 22 for immunization

Interview: Dec 3, 2012 (Approved)

Visa in hand: Dec 6, 2012

POE: January 12, 2013

welcome. most of us worry about those things but most of the time it is for nothing. People were always telling me it would be okay but I couldn't stop worrying. It all worked out in the end since I picked up my package yesterday.

Petitioner LPR upgraded to USC June 22, 2012
August 22, 2012: case complete
October 18, 2012: Interview (APPROVED)
October 26, 2012: Picked up visa from DHL (delay caused by Sandy)
December 15, 2012: POE Atlanta....................became USC July 2016!!!!

Mothers' Journey (My sister is the petitioner)

September 10, 2013: Sent I-130 (UPS next day service)

September 12, 2013: Received text to confirm delivery

September 16, 2013: Received NOA 1

March 22, 2014: Received NOA 2

April 8, 2014: File Received by NVC

May 26, 2015: Interview (approved)..........now LPR (delays caused by 2 RFE)

I would really love to fill in my timeline but I lost track of the exact dates. I'll dig my emails so I can also share a complete detail of my visa journey to you guys. :)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
