The airline hands them out before you land along with the customs declaration. I have seen the customs declaration in Spanish but I have only seen one I-94, it's in English and it's currently in my wife's passport!

Do they make you pay if you have mulitples?

We didn't pay for our first one but every time after we've had to pay $6.

I'm not saying they do it in the case of your actual Visa POE, but just for traveling with my husband he's had to pay.

Is that at a border crossing? Because they just hand them out on the airplane before you land. Who charges the $6.00 for the I-94 form? Sounds strange to me.

Blue water bridge border cross.

Like I said, first one was free, then $6 bucks after that. We've had 5 of them.

You get one each time your cross, and then they take it from you when you leave the country. I am not sure how you have 5.

my fiance is coming from mexico? does she need to pay fro the I94 document? or is that form free? if she does have to pay for it at point of entry how much is it? i have to tell her to bring dollars to cover that expense

On a plane, it is free. If she is doing a border crossing, they charge $6 for an I-94.

That figures. And on the plane they always leave a couple of stacks lying around for those that were sleeping when they were handed out. Years ago I remember Mexico had the same thing and on the plane they told you don't make any mistakes because they can only give you one, if you messed up you had to buy one when you landed!

You'll probably want some cash on hand for other things, too, though. My husband has flown through Mexico twice and didn't have any money for dealing with his luggage--he had to carry it between flights instead of it being dealt with by the baggage handlers. He only had Peruvian money and plastic. (Of course, right there, in our truck was a wad of singles that we use for toll money or coffee or whatever. He had refused to take it with him the last time because he forgot about the baggage issue in Mexico. He called me whining about it a few hours later--hahaha)
