Thanks everyone!! and I hope the other Marcher's get approved asap. There's not too many left.

I just pray I get to NVC and through there quickly as possible.

I'd like your timeline through there Erichu!! Holy cow!

My buddy just called USE Manila and they said they make K-1 interview appointments once a month??

His petition got there in Sept., we filed the same day. But they missed him when they made appointments in Oct.

She said they'll be making more appointments in mid Nov.

I sure hope mine can get there in time if that's true. otherwise it'll be Dec for a Feb. interview? maybe??

:dance::dance::dance:

Gonna try again.

As you saw, we got super-lucky on the CSC-NVC-USE steps in the process after some bad breaks within CSC. You deserve some of that same speedy service.

Hornet, you are still in for some serious waiting but at least you will get fair treatment soon. The day your petition arrives at the NVC seems to determine the NVC Case number MNL2006xxxxxx and that number sets your place in line for interviews in Manila. Currently it's about a 4 month wait from the time your petition arrives in Manila to the interview date. I would guess you are looking at a March interview if your petition gets to NVC in the next 3 weeks or so. Good luck!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! WOW!!! The news for March filers just keeps getting better and better!! AWESOME!!!

I know you've waited a long, long time, Hornet. Hope you're dancing in the street over the news!!

:jest::dance: :energetic: :goofy::dancing:

May the road that yet lies ahead have offer not a single impediment to you and yours. You have already had more than your share. Here's to obtaining that visa in a flash now!!!:thumbs:

January 2004: Met Laurent at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris

February 2004: We became an actual couple

January 29th, 2006: I left France to return to the United States--AWFUL to say goodbye!

June 2006: Finally convinced Laurent that a K-1 visa would be more time-effective than trying to get an H-1

August 1st, 2006: The K-1 petition is finally in the mail and on its way to Nebraska...WooHoooo!! And yes, I remembered to attach the check! :-)

August 3rd, 2006: USPS online tracking shows that my petition (sent certified) was received at the NSC at 5:05am

August 14th, 2006: NOA1 received USPS!! (I-129F recv'd at CSC: 8/4; NOA date: 8/10; last touched: 8/11)

October 2nd, 2006: I MISTAKENLY thought we had an approval...False alarm...Back to waiting...

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

October 20th, 2006: Case forwarded to Paris!! DHL says two shipments were headed that way. Must be in there somewhere...

October 27th, 2006: Received official receipt letter from NVC via USPS.

Congrats, that's wonderful! :)

YUP!! About damm time!! 234 days!!!

I'm happy but mostly just relieved at the moment. My stress level was peaked at 9.9!!!

It's a bitter sweet victory though!! No one should have to go through this for this long.

No 2nd RFE......only IMBRA!! not in Security checks.

They had all the evidence they needed, they just took their sweet azz time.

I actually just got home from my Congressman's office. She was peturbed I was bugging her again!!

I was there at 1pm and she changed her time frame again about my inquiry.

First she said she would be updated every 10 days.

Then mid Oct she said 30 days til we hear an update from the first inquiry.

Today she said 30-45 days which it said on the e-mail from CSC.

These people are friggin nuts! Now if I can just get out of CSC as soon as possible.

Here's the e-mail they sent her.

Good morning

I have just received word that the petition is approved. It will be sent to our records division to remove the I-129f from our file and forward the petition to the National Visa Center. This part of the process takes as much as two weeks and then transit in integration into the NVC takes about 3 weeks. Therefore, it is safe to say that the petitioner will receive notice from the NVC regarding the visa application some time in very early December
