It's good to know that traveling with an expired GC and an extension letter is easy breezy (this applies to national and international traveling, right?). :)

I also just traveled overseas with an expired green card and extension letter. Absolutely no problems. Airline wanted to see the letter at check in, and immigration officer at airport just wanted to see the expired card, didn't even look at the letter. I assume your status/dates are all linked in their computers etc.

Hi everybody!!!We have to wait few more month,I am starting to worry! I need advice! Me and my husband after marriage moved to his mom's house, so we don't have any lease agreement and we don't have any bills (electric, water) but we have a lot of joint documents:

Car insurance (both cars)

Car title (both cars)

Medical bills

Gym membership

Costco membership

Tax Return

Driving license (the same address)

Paychecks

Credit cards pictures.....etc

We send mom's letter where she wrote that we really live at her house, she signed it and we did so??? If I'll get RFE what should I send then??

LOVE IS IN THE AIR

Glad to see people had no issues! I am going on a trip back to the UK for 12 days in April and my case is still pending (June Filer) so I will have to use the letter. I've been nervous about doing so.

we traveled to/from mexico with the extension letter without any significant issues...we did get sent to the immigration office upon return (NYC) so they could check things more thoroughly...had to wait there *forever* but when they finally got to my husband it took just a second and they did apologize for the wait. So maybe it was not supposed to happen that way....

Well, we had at least two more months. Now we will have to see if there will be an impact on processing times due to the sequester. Hope not!!! ^___^

Hi guys,

Just wanted to know anybody who applied for ROC in the beginning of sept 2012 and what is their current position. I applied around the middle of sept 2012 but after the biometrics which was on november 1st so far nothing has happend. I know its taking a bit longer than usual but its 6 mnths now. On their website they say the average time for california service centre is 6.9 mnths. Would like any feedback. Have a great day guys.

Thank you
