Hello @ paciencia y fe

congrats on your early walk in. If I may ask what state you are in? I am in Texas and I am planning a walk in tomorrow. Just wanna know the details and how it went.

Thanks

hey there - we're in NYC and did the walk-in Queens. We were actually almost turned away (lady was not happy with us), because it was busy (in case anyone else goes there, they said slow time is 2pm - we went at 10am, which was dumb in retrospect, because lots of the scheduled appts are for 10am). But anyway the lady was feeling the holiday spirit and after we waited around for a bit we were able to get it done. For the original AOS, we did walk-in in Manhattan and it was easy peasy. I think it all depends on how busy the place is. Apparently Hurricane Sandy made things congested here.

good luck on your walk-in! I'm sure it will be fine. :)

Successfully completed my walk in biometrics today! I was there @ 11.30am and it was dead. Just about 5 of us! The receptionist said she wouldn't have let me except it wasn't so busy. When I was leaving @ about 12 the line had about 20 people! So I think going between appointment times is a better option.

Can someone update my timeline. I am on my phone and don't want to screw it up.

Hello fellow "removers"! :P

I had my biometrics appointment this morning. I was in and out in about 45 minutes. They took my fingerprints, my photo, my signature. Easy breezy!

The waiting area was a zoo! If cameras and cell phones were allowed I'd take a few shots of the circus!

hi friends,

applejuice here. went to and got my 9 fingers printed, photo taken, and digital signature signed into the computer system.

i showed up about 30 minutes early. went through the security check-in, just like airport style, and then walked into a big empty staging area.

the whole thing took about 5 minutes of wait time - there was a dude in front of me in the queue.

my prints, photo, and sign took < 5 minutes.

i paid for 2 hours of parking... wasted.

and then went back home. stopped at a burger king along the way - got 2 chicken sandwiches, which actually had bacon on them. tasty, but my arteries are probably clogged-er.

thanks, hope all is well with you all.

Be careful LARAREYES, you need to be an LPR for 3 years before you can apply for naturalization. It doesn't have the same rules as the 90 days prior application for ROC. If you send your application in early, they will send it back to you.

In response to your answer, no need to be scare or careful, nothing could happen, a green card holder , can apply for a naturalization if he or she is married with a citizen in 2 years and 9 month begining from the date the person got the permanent residence with condition or not.

if the permanent resident is in process of removing the condition , he or she have the notice of action and already have 2 years and 9 month , the person can apply for naturalization while the condition process in pending.

you can google, infopass,uscis.gov en us different resources to confirm this information.

resource : wwww.uscis.gov

3 years with legal residence in the united states

Green Card holder

married with the same citizen for the las 3 years

18+ years old

etc etc

is good when people give there opinion ,to inform themself before giving a wrong information.specially for the people who come here searching for information and for answers.

Just so everybody who has similar case as me know. According to USCIS representative, my 9-year old step son, who I thought should be getting his biometrics appointment letter, he will NOT receive it, until USCIS approves my wife (his mother.) I was worried that it was late, since she got it long time ago. Anyway, I hope this bit of information will help someone. Please, let me know if you have any questions in this regard.

Thanks

Updated Slelant's Information.

1. Your wife's NOA1 & your Setp-son's NOA1 are right.

2. I think your step-son also suppose to have a Biometrics letter. But i am not sure.Lets see anybody else knows about this. You can also call 1-800 number from Bio letter and find out.

3. NOA1 EAC# & Biometrics EAC# are always different. The EAC# on your Biometrics letter is the main & you can check your case status by using this EAC#.

4. The paper quality as you described is NORMAL. So no worries.
