Canada does indeed process K1 visas at the Vancouver consulate :) It's just the IR-1's that all go through Montreal.

And CR-1's.

We just sent the I-129F package to the Dallas LockBox today and will be using the Vancouver Consulate for the interview.

Ahh, lucky. Vancouver is much quicker than Montreal.

Thanks, we were only 20 when we got married the first time around. We're much more mature now and are just as much in love if not more now. :)

We're very excited to get things back on track. I hope everything goes smoothly with the K1 process!

I have no advice about the visa but wanted to chime in to say Congrats on your reconciliation! :luv:

Good Luck to the both of you on your visa journey!

I don't think you'll be able to interview at the Vancouver consulate. I'm not Canadian so shoot me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure you'll be making a trip to Montreal.

Consider yerself shot - lets say with an 11 kg poutine high-colonic.

My fiancee decided she can't marry me and has called it quits. What should I do now? Just call and ask to cancel the I129F application?

Yup. But that's HER petition, so SHE needs to cancel it (not the beneficiary, not you)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
