When my wife and I got married in City Hall in Västerås, Sweden in June last year, there was a big festival going on downtown. Right when our wedding ceremony started, outside City Hall on a big stage, music was blasting out of the speakers. Our wedding started with some tremendously romantic background music, namely Motörhead's Ace of Spades.

True story.

To walk in I used "hanging by a moment" on piano

To walk out we used "better together" by jack Johnson.

So what will be your wedding song? Any recommendation? My wedding is less than 2 months. I will be putting down a $1,000 deposit when my fiancee lands in POE October 5.

What will be a good song for a mother/son dance? Let's share some ideas.

Congrats on the upcoming nuptials!!! These are some of the songs we played at our wedding- good lyrics & beautiful melodies:

- Come away with me by Norah Jones

- Here & Now by Luther Vandross

- This will be by Natalie Cole

- Dreamers by Alissa Beyer

- God's Greatest Gift by C Willis & Kelli Williams

- You & I by George Michael

- Heaven (Candlelight Slow Remix)by DJ Sammy

- It's your love by Tim McGraw & Faith Hill

- Better Today by Coffey Anderson (I'm sure you'll LOVE this one)

Hope this helps...I'm a hopeless romantic so I promise these songs were searched for days on end, lol. All the best to you two lovebirds (F)(F)

We will dance to "I want to Spend my lifetime loving you" as our first dance. After dinner she will change from her ivory wedding dress into a traditional dress and we will dance to Filipino music.

I don't know if anyone is still reading this, but I film weddings for a living. I film some the biggest, most expensive ones there are even that include celebrities. By far! my favorite ones are the ones that are unique to the couple. They have their own style, surround themselves with people who love them, and they throw a very personal party with decor that is unique to only them. I remember one had a "Biscuit Bar" with different kinds of jelly and preserves. As for the song, it needs to be something that means something to the two of you. Don't randomly pick something. PLEASE do not walk down the isle to NSYNC or Dave Matthews! UGH! You are beautiful and elegant and you need music that suggests that. Check out "River Flows In You" by Yiruma. Something like that would be nice.

Just my 2 cents!
