I had my AOS Interview yesterday at the above location, we arrived 15min early, our appointment was at 10am,there were quite a few people in the waiting room, we got called in about 10:20am by Officer "C" (Not sure if I should use his actual name). The interview went pretty smoke, he was friendly and understanding. We seemed to have things in common, as far as hobbies and places we like to visit. He started by asking my name and then a series of questions related to the info we provided on the forms. Asked when we meet and when we got married, asked to look at pictures but he did not keep any and we did have copies. Now I'm thinking maybe we should have handed them to him?

The interview lasted about 20-25 min, he walked outside to make copies and when he came back in, he said everything looked good and that I should receive my GC in 6weeks or so. Also i did ask him what to do in case I had to leave the country before my GC arrived and simply said, let me stamp your passport which he did, then proceeded to have it sealed as well.

So happy to be done with this for a while at least until we remove conditions.

What happens now? Should I go back to the SSO to get a new SS card? Anything else I have to do or can I just go about my business and move on? Thank you guys for everything.

what did you have to prove your bonafide marriage?

In our case i think the pictures and the fact that my wife flew to Mexico shortly after the wedding to meet my family, sealed the deal! We did have more proof but the officer didn't ask for it. Here's what we had: 3 affidavits signed by her parents and my dad, receipts for pretty much everything we have bought together. Joint bank account. Tattoos(lol). Now that's its over, i can't remember :bonk:

EDITED: Boarding passes from when she went to mexico and also plane tickets we bought together for next week. Costco membership, ID's with the same address. Correspondence(mail, cards, invitations). Phone bill with both our names on it. Car insurance also with both our names. concert/move tickets. letter from landlord
