Sign this petition to USCIS - EB2 India deserves better

The EB2 India priority date retrogressed to September 2004 (from August 2007) in the October 2012 Visa Bulletin. We need to demand a much faster and more predictable process from USCIS for Green Card processing.

We have started a petition on Change.org to gather this support with 1000 signatures, and will send this petition to USCIS. We gathered 100 signatures in less than 36 hours, but there is still a long way to go.

Moved from Adjustment of Status from Work, Student & Tourist Visas to NVC forum. Retrogression of priority dates on the visa bulletin is within the purview of the NVC.

Your petition is fundamentally flawed, USCIS has nothing to to with retrogression or the visa bulletin; the visa bulletin is published by the NVC which is a State Department Organization. Furthermore, USCIS does not issue visas, the State Department does, plus EB-2 is a visa category, not a special kind of green card that your petition would imply.

1. Internet petitions never accomplish anything.

2. Retrogression isn't USCIS' fault and there's nothing they can do about it. It's a consequence of the quota system which is law. To change it requires new legislation from congress. Write your congressperson instead.
