If you want to bring her daughter along at the same time, Yes you need to fill out a separate 130 for her also; Don't forget to include the childs birth certificate with her forms also!! There are two visa fees involved, and medical fees also; also a separate AOS 864 for the child. Good luck.

Firstly, the I-130 is a petition form that you file, it's not something you apply for.

Secondly, to answer your question, you can submit the two petitions at the same time. Pay close attention to what John and Ann told you.

I did this for my two step daughters. I also included with the i130 for each child a notarized letter from the father authorizing this. If you are interested I can provide you with the format in mine so you can use it.

"If separate petitions are also being submitted for other relatives, give names of each and relationship."

Should the names be included here

* only if filed together

* also if filed separately at the same time

* also if filed separately at any time in the past if still in progress

(D2 asks for names filing dates and results)

* also if filed separately at any time (including near future).

I'm considering staggering the applications a month or so each to spread out the fees, and perhaps learn from the previous experiences.

I don't want to answer this wrong and have them wait for the other applications to come in.

However, it does not ask my wife's name there or anywhere else?! (Marriage certificate will be accompanying)

Should I put my wife's name there also (for stepchild's petition)
