A friend who introduced my Fiance and me told me I had to come to this site. I have already gained a lot of knowledge thanks to you all. We are at the point of filling out the I -129f and the G-325 A forms. The G-325 A says at the bottom to "Be sure to put your name and Alien Registration number in the box outlined by the heavy border below". We don't have an Alien Registration number ! I thought this was the start of the K- 1 Visa process. We surely want to be complete on all the forms, but this is just confusing. Anyone been down this road that can offer advice is appreciated.

I will hold off on the other 199 questions for now ! Thanks for this forum.

Well, you have to keep in mind that the G-325A form is used for a lot of petitions, not just the fiance(e) petition. In fact, that's why they ask you on the form itself to specify the type of petition the G-325A is accompanying. SO! If you don't have an A# just put NONE. That's what I did anyways, but then I haven't gotten approved yet so don't take my word for it, hah!

One other thing I did was to input my own (USC petitioner) A# on my own forms since I am a naturalized citizen and therefore used to have an A# myself. I wondered a lot about whether I should have put it or not (this was before I had found this site, sadly) and eventually decided to hope for the best and input it. We shall see if I get RFE'd over it :).

Anyways, good luck to you and welcome to the site.

What we did, was just put my fiance's name. After you get NOA2...there will be an A# about your fiance's name. I'm PRETTY sure thats the A# but I believe thats something they fill in later on. I could be wrong. But just don't put anything there. I didn't. Got approved. :)

Thanks for the advice ! A first step on what looks like a long but rewarding journey. The next question I have is about submitting copies of our chats online for the last 6 months. Is this something I can just submit with the I-129-f, or do I need to send a copy to my fiance? Also, it is probably about 600 pages. Is it o.k. to just take samples from each week, or better to send the whole thing? Thanks much ! I already feel like I have support where none existed just yesterday !

Just a few pages from each month maybe. Not the whole 600 pages. :)

Forms is one thing.

Since yer casefile is headed off to GUZ IV, please read the red flags topic NOW,

address any red flags via seperate letters of attestation..

see GUZ IV red flags - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/234971-red-flag-list-for-visa-denial/page__hl__appointment

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Once you do this ^^^^ if you are sure everything is the way is supposed to, please refer yourself to the K1 Guide to make sure you don't miss a beat and check out the Sample Forms to dissipate any doubts on how to fill them out.

Educate yourself with the Flowchart and read up on the Regional Forum for China to know what to do and what to expect.

Thanks everyone for the great advice ! From what I see, it is better to be over-prepared than under-prepared. We are approaching this like it is a huge project for school ! And we have a deadline to meet !

Like the previous responders have mentioned, Follow the GUIDES!

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

O.K., I know you will roll your eyes, but I did not keep my boarding passes. I do have printed itineraries, credit card statement for flights, passport page showing entry and exit from China. And, pictures of my lady and me, so is this going to be enough to satisfy them?

any photos of you and her with her parents? IIRC, those are priceless, from a GUZ IV VO's perspective.

Sure, we went to dinner with them a couple of days before I left. Thanks ! I think there is enough of supporting documents to show I was there when I say I was there. Just do not want any snags, and if they are sticklers about boarding passes, then it means I have to fly there again !
