Could you add me to the list. EAD transfered to CSC as of May 30th  Didnt even have biometrics done yet. Is this good or bad?

Maria

I don't think it's a bad thing, but I am a little confused  .......I didn't think that the EAD applications would be transfrerred, I thought it was just AOS applications...can someone clarify?

Moz,

I doubt it would make any difference, but I have everything here. Did all the copies of everything before I sent it in. I just hate the fact that my daughter is still in this limbo when she should of been clear of it ages ago. It is a worry every day. We have already built our lives here and said goodbye to our old lives in Oz. But there is always that concern in the back of your mind that everything will just fall apart. You read about it all the time and there seems no rhyme or reason to how these fools at the USCIS think.

After having rung the mis-information line several time and got accents I had trouble understanding, which weren't American, it makes you wonder why they have no empathy for what immigrants go through, obviously having had to go through it themselves or is it just payback cause they had such a hard time? Who knows???

They sure as heck better get their act together when they start charging triple what they are now. And I don't care that they say it includes the EAD & AP, in a lot of cases (like my daughter's) they aren't applied for anyways.

I feel you Kaffy, they want James's full medical again as well, supposedly they lost it or it ran out (I was going to type a rant but I feel my blood pressure rising so I'd better not). I sincerely hope that this means we are out of the namecheck deal and the medical is what they need, but we all know hope doesn't usually get you far in this game!

Just got the email that my case is now pending at CSC.

It's amazing...I can't wait until I get some kind of approval for either the EAD or AOS, but knowing that it's THERE now, and that it's being worked on is a relief. :)

For what it's worth, I do believe that receiving an RFE from CSC (especially after your case has sat there for a while) is a sign that your namecheck has been completed. After sending in our response to a similar RFE, our approval was relatively quick to come.

Best wishes!

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

Here's hoping. Other March filers seemed to have quite a delay between "transfer" and "pending" e-mails. I'm not as worried about AOS now that I know EAD is around the corner, but...hmm. It'd be nice to know they have it and it's not being used as nesting materials for some native bird in between Missouri and California...

I want an e-mail like everyone else-I would feel a lot better knowing that someone has it on there desk, even if they decide to ignore it for a few months

I felt the same way! I actually wasn't expecting to get the 'pending' email quite so soon. It was quite a surprise when it came yesterday.

I was looking forward to going to Reading, PA this weekend for our annual WWII Airshow getaway and re-enactment (it's where we were introduced and will be our 2nd anniversary together) to get away from the computer for a while. It was driving me nuts not seeing anything. I was hoping that maybe there would be something in my email when we come back from Vegas on June 10, but looks like I don't have to do that now!

Now, it's on to the next step and hopefully there will be good news when we get back from both weekend getaways :D

A girl can hope can't she? And maybe goodluck will be with us in Vegas or when we return ;)
