I have my interview tommorrow in Newark at 9:30. I'm a little nervous, not too bad, just a little. All natural I'm sure. Anyway, I sent in my paper work with the help of a lawyer but he won't be attending the interview with me tommorrow.

Here is my list of stuff:

All paperwork sent with AOS

All correspondence from USCIS including interview letter

My 2 passports (expired and current)

My I94

My adoption certificate

My birth certificate

my EAD

My state ID

Hubby's US birth certificate

Hubby's Driver's license

Hubby's 2004 tax returns...he didn't have to file a return for the previous years

Co sponsors birth certificate

Co sponsors Taxes, W2, pay stubs and a copy of Driver's license

Our marriage license

Our joint bank account Statements

Our joint VOID Check

Our joint ING Savings account

Our joint Utility bill

Our joint AAA membership cards and bill

Mail coming to both or either of us at our home.

16 Pictures of us and family at different occasions.

Letters from the bank to both of us.

Copies of everything listed above

09-26-05 Mailed AOS/EAD/130

12-23-05 Recieve Notice of Interview for 02-28-06 (77 days total)

02-28-06 AOS interview APPROVED stamp in passport (138 days total)

03-24-06 Welcome to America letter arrives.

03-28-06 Green Card Arrives error free

Removal of Conditions

12-01-07 Mailed I751 to VT (day 1)

11-13-08....Card Production Ordered (day 358)

N-400

03-16-2011 Mailed to Lewisville lockbox

03-17-2011 NOA date

03-23-2011 Check Cashed

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

I-129 F / K-1 Visa in 2005:

Jan 10 : Received NOA 1 from VSC

Jan 27 : Received approval e-mail

Feb 5 : Received NVC letter

Feb 9 : Received NOA letter

Mar 7 : Received packet for visa interview

Apr 25 : Medical exam

Apr 26 : Screened documents and interview approved

May 13 : Picked up visa

Sep 11 : Went to the US

Oct .... : Got SSN in maiden name

Nov 13 : Wedding Day!

AOS in 2005 till 2006 :

Dec 12 : Sent AOS + EAD

Dec 22 : Received NOA1 letter

Dec 28 : Got touched

Feb .... : Received SSN in married name

Feb 18 : Received Bio letter of AOS + EAD

Feb 23 : Appointment of biometrics of AOS + EAD

The rest is a waiting game :)

Feb 25 : Got touched AOS + EAD

Mar 1 : Received an e-mail stating EAD card will be sent

Mar 2 : Received an e-mail stating an approval letter is already sent

Mar 4 : Received EAD card in the mail

May 24 : AOS Interview

July 14 : Touched (said that the decision took 120 days)

July 19 : InfoPass Appointment & Passport got stamped for GC. What a surprise!

July 20 : Got a welcome letter from USCIS and that GC card would be mailed soon. What a surprise!

July 25 : Got a GC in the mailbox. Wow...what a real relief! My status is now clear:)

Deal with USCIS again in April 2008

February 16th 06 - Biometrics Appointment

February 22nd 06 - EAD Approved via e mail

February 27th 06 - EAD card in mail!!!

March 6th 06 - Got a job!

March 17th 06 - Green Card Approval via e mail

March 18th 06 - 'Welcome to America' letter arrives

March 24th 06 - Green Card Arrives!

16 May 2005 - Assembled health package, W2s.
27 June 2005 - Sent package off to Chicago lockbox.
28 June 2005 - Package received at Chicago lockbox.
11 July 2005 - RFE: cheques inappropriately placed.
18 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-485, I-131, I-765 received!
19 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-130 received!
24 August 2005 - Biometrics appointment (Naperville, IL).
25 August 2005 - AOS touched.
29 August 2005 - AP, EAD, I-485 touched.
15 September 2005 - AP and EAD approved!

27 February 2006 - NOA 2: Interview for 27 April!!

K-1/K-2 AOS APPROVED IN ATLANTA MAY 17, 2006

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
