Hi All

I'm still waiting for my NOA2, which was suppose to be received almost a week ago :(

We called the USCIS service centre, but they keep telling us they have a problem with their system, and they can't do anything to us :(

Our service centre is Vermont, we sent our application in 2/29/2012, and received our NOA1 in 3/2/2012. Can anyone help us in what to do? We already sent an e-mail to the Senator of Ohio, but I guess he don't care at all, since we didn't receive any reply from his office since 2 weeks. So can anyone advice us in what to do...I'm going crazy checking my e-mail every few hours..:(

I suggest you relax for a few days. Your I-130 should be approved any day now. Literally people on your day are getting approved today. It just might take a little longer (a couple days or a couple weeks). I would give it until next Friday. You'll probably be approved this week, though. If your I-130 still hasn't been approved by then, just call USCIS one more time to see what's up. For real, though. People with priority date of March 2, 2012 are getting approved today. I wouldn't be surprised if you did this week sometime, too.

Can't know it as a fact, but I think probability is on your side at this point.

I'm still waiting, and I noticed that most of the people that have my exact date has been accepted, except us, and you can check that, unfortunately, we called several times, but we keep getting the same answer over and over, we have to wait, and they can do nothing about it, and they are saying that there system is malfunctioning now, and its still showing them that the processing date is 2/27th.

I know that I have to wait, and no one can do anything about it, but my entire life is on hold now, and I'm unable to do anything, because I don't know if I'm going to be rejected, accepted, stay in pending status, or what exactly.....and I know that my case is similar to a lot of people, but seeing that all of the people with my date have been accepted except mine is killing me...:(

I know this process is not fun. I know it doesn't make you feel any better but we are Vermont Service Center and our NOA1 is Jan 12 and we STILL haven't heard anything....

Unfortunately things got relaly messed up there for a while and who knows whats going on now. Can't relaly do anything about it, can try to get a congressman involved but even then they usually tell you to ask again in 30 days...

I'm sorry you're going through this, MoTiff. I would definitely get a service request if it's been over 5 months. The USCIS website states to call in if you are over that time frame. Perhaps they will let you submit a service request at 5.5 months as others have stated throughout the forum.

Yes, I see that other people with the same NOA1 date as you have been accepted. I actually stated that to you in my original post that people on your day were being accepted back then, so there is no need for me to check. I hope they get to you ASAP.

Hi everyone

It's telling us on there system that we received an RFE, not sure how am I supposed to receive it, because I'm checking my e-mail but nothing is there, at the same time, how long it will take after that, and is it bad? does it mean I'm going to be rejected? or what exactly?

Thank you

They aren't bad or good. They just want more info. They suck when you just want approval, but they are good if you were worried about not giving enough info. They are basically giving you a chance to better prove that you are eligible to receive immigration benefits. Just wait for them to tell you what they want, and respond ASAP to their requests as fully as possible.
