It all depends on the person's household count plus the number of persons still "actively" sponsored. You haven't supplied enough information to give a firm answer.

Does this person have any immediate family (wife, children) who are US citizens?

When you say family how many are you expecting this person to help with ? Is the parson married , do they have children. Not knowing much with the 6 he is still responsible for and himself be could do one more but only if he doesn't have a wife and children. 2 more if you make way over 50k and has no family himself.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

You have not provided enough information. Read form I-864p to figure if he qualifies.

Here is the rough calculations;

ASSUMMING that he has current I-864s in place for the 6 LPRs that he sponsored, his household count will be 7 including himself.

$50,000 allows him 2 more people. If he has A wife and kids (that are not part of the 6 LPRs), hen he does not make enough.

You need to figure out his household size. Follow the directions for form I-864 to figure it out. Then, you use his household size to look I he makes enough to sponsor additional people.

Without good information from you, we cannot give you a better answer.

He is Catholic Priest and no wife or children. the only people he has sponsored are his legal responsibility. He is single plus six people he sponsored. that is it.

how big is your family and how much over 50K does he make, the person who became a USC, he isn't responsible for anymore. so his household size is 6

This is a really good question....

I live at home with my Parents. It's just 3 of us. My brother in law said he agrees to co-sponsor for me. His house hold count is 4, My sister and their 2 daughters. All US Citizen. Can we have more than one co-sponsor?

What is the total amount that my brother will have to make to co-sponsor for me?

I guess this could give an idea for anyone else looking for more information about this.

Any individual person can have 2 people the original petitioner and a co sponsor. A family group can use different people for any of the group as long as that person is qualified for the people they are sponsoring.
