we are anxious for next week interview, i am gathering all the documents, and we are planning to go very early to the uscis office, Please we need all your prayers and positive energy, my wife is waiting for that.

on tuesday i will give you guys and update

My husband and I have our interview next tuesday also. I am scared to death. I've been frantically searching the internet for other people in our position. I'm glad I found this site.

Ours is at 9:00......what's your story? Do you have an attorney?

no we do not have an attorney i did it myself with the help of this forum it was more easier, we sent our aos package in may and on august we recieved the interview letter, we gather all the documents and we are ready just waiting for the day

My husband and I did not have a fiance visa. He had a transit visa. We were with my parents and decided that it was a good time to get married. We didn't intend on staying in the United States(we were going to go to Amsterdam and live with my sister) until we spoke with our attorney. We didn't know anything. Our Attorney was great until just this past week. He is going to the interview with us. We met with him last friday and gave him all of our "evidence". Then we sat in his office and he told us all the bad things that could happen. I was so scared I came out of his office thinking that this was impossible. I feel more confident now but still scared. Any encouraging words?

I will pray for you, and I have to say that I'm just as nervous, since my interview is next Friday, in Fresno, CA. I've been looking for someone who's had theirs here, but haven't found anyone. please let us know how yours goes next Tuesday, I'll be praying for you all who posted after and are also anxious.

My story:

09/23/2002 - Met Chris online, there was something very special about this guy =0)

07/16/2006 - We got married in Reno, Nevada.

USCIS:

08/13/2006 - Filed for AOS, AP, EAD - they were VERY carefully packaged with a detailed cover sheet on top of each of the forms, just as VJ's instructions recommend. It was A LOT of work, but it did pay off! (we firmly believe this is what sped up our process big time)

08/31/2006 - Biometrics appointment

09/09/2006 - Received my AOS appointment date!

10/26/2006 - EAD touched and AP APPROVED!

10/27/2006 - AOS appointment at 7:30 AM! APPROVED IN EXACTLY 70 DAYS!!!

11/01/2006 - EAD approved

11/02/2006 - Email notification - greencard will be mailed as soon as it is ready! YAY again!

11/02/2006 - Welcome to the United States of America letter in the mail! Almost there! =)

11/06/2006 - EAD card and White card (a.k.a. greencard) arrive in the mail!

Journey Total Duration: 80 days

Filed for removal of conditions on 07-28-2008 and had them removed on 09-10-2008
