Hi

I'm feeling terrible, i think my case is the worst case ever in history :(:(:(:(

I received a RFE almost 3 months ago, the lawyer told us what we needed to send and so we did, and now after so much waiting I received a letter requesting initial information again :(. It says please submit a completed and signed form I-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on form I-130 or form I-129F

I've been waiting for nearly 4 months now, and my case is still in the request of initial information phase, I'm so sad, how long am i going to need to wait, 1 year?? everybody's got all this done in 6 months at the most, i can't believe this, i thought that by this time, i'd be already if not with my green card in hand at least with my employment permission looking for a job, but no... :(

My husband is my petitioner, but he hasn't worked before, he was a full time student, he recently got a job but won't be able to submit his taxes until next year.

My question is, what information are we supposed to put on the tax info requested in the form I-1864 if he didn't submit any taxes?

We submitted that form with a joint sponsor, but didn't send one for my husband.

What information or documents do we need to send with that form they are requesting?

Thanks in advance!

and I'm sorry for the above but i just feel so terrible :(

P.S I don't have a timeline, because I'm new here, and i don't know how to do that

First of all, you sound like you need a new lawyer, or just DIY.

Your husband needs to submit a form I-864 himself too, along with the one from the Co-sponsor. If his income was zero, write an explanation stating that.

Most cases aren't done in max 6 months, rather about 6 - 10 months.
