Almost one month post Biometric appointment and no update online & no letters from USCIS??

So my AOS package was received on April 16th or 17th.My Biometric appointment was on May 4th.As of now,I still have not received any notices nor has there been an update online.My AOS application is still under "Accepted," and my Employment Authorization is under "Review."Is it normal to not receive any notification at this point? BTW,the I 130 was sent separately on January 23,2012 but my case became concurrent.

It's normal.

We're both in the same boat, timeline-wise.

Most likely we will both hear something within the next fortnight, probably interview notices. Any RFE would likely have been sent already.

It has been barely over a month since your I-485 was received (4/17). EAD takes 3 months. That means about 2 months more.

Probably did when you were in that position, not anymore. There is somewhere that it's actually posted(instructions for the form maybe?) that it's 30 to 60 days now. Most AOS's are processing in about 10 weeks now.

The current processing time at NBC says 3 months. That is where the processing time is posted. It's not 30-60 days. To expect it sooner is just creating unrealistic expectations and disappointment. Especially when someone does a walk-in bio, and then starts counting from that biometric, they get so worried and freak out without realizing that the early bio does nothing.

It depends on several things, how long your process will take.

The biggest thing to keep in mind is that until you hear something negative from USCIS, your case is still being processed. They aren't going to deny your case or make any huge changes without letting you know.

Chill and enjoy the ride as much as that is possible.

That's what I'm telling myself anyways My luck I'll get an RFE instead of an interview notice.

AOS applications have actually slowed down so that many are taking much longer than 10 weeks, even for adjustments from K-1 which should be reasonably simple and do not always require an interview.

Some people say that USCIS is going to start using all its time to process naturalization applications so that more recent immigrants will vote for the President, but I doubt that USCIS is that politically motivated when it comes to processing times.
