I know its way to early for me to be worried in this long process, but I sent out our I-129F on May 21st and still have not received an email/txt notification about an NOA1. The package was confirmed received at the Dallas Lockbox on May 23rd via USPS. I've noticed others who sent our I-129F on May 23rd and have already received an email and/or txt.

I created an account on the USCIS website, but its asking for a receipt number, which obviously I don't yet have.

Did you send a check with the petition? Was it cashed?

It may take up to 30 days to receive the NOA1. Some people who sign up to receive the email/text notifications never receive them, it seems.

The I-129 and the I-129F are separate petitions for different items. That note refers to the former, not the latter.

But that's the I-129, not the same thing as the I-129F.

Edit: Oops, LeftCoastLady beat me to it.

To the OP, if they received your package on the 23rd they have had only a couple of business days to process the contents and issue a NOA1. I am sure you will hear something soon but as Celeste said, your first clue might be the cashing of the check.

Don't forget it was a holiday weekend too, so Monday, no one working. So that's one more day. If it was shown as received, I wouldn't panic. If in another week it's not entered into the system and your check isn't cashed, then I'd try and contact them.

And yeah, a few more day is nothing. Wait until it's entered, and then be prepared to wait four or five months without hearing a thing. THAT is the hard one...

It took me 9 days in December to get my NOA1, and going back and looking, I notice the e-mail notification was sent a day later than the notice day that was printed on the NOA1 document I got in the mail. Maybe in the next day, or few.

The holiday will delay things for sure, many people were off friday and tuesday. My check was cashed the same day I got the text and email. Best of luck you will be fine
