I believe it because 5 months is average.

also..... VJ has more to do with helping than any God.

God may have created energy or the begining of our universe, but it is up to us humans to make things happen.

God bless VJ!

But I do wish you the best of luck for the rest of the process.

Thanks to all, does anyone know as of now how much time it takes file to be transferred from USCIS to NVC?

And do you get a welcome letter from NVC or something like that so i know that they have my file.

More questions, please help:

1) Do I need to file I-864 or I-864EZ? How do i determine which one i need to fill out and what is the difference between them?

2) Can you send DS 230 along with i-864 or i-864EZ, whichever i need to fill out?

Please help. Thanks in advance.

More questions, please help:

1) Do I need to file I-864 or I-864EZ? How do i determine which one i need to fill out and what is the difference between them?

Check I-864P poverty guidelines. If you make more than poverty guidelines for your household size, then you do not need a co-sponsor so won't need to fill out I-864EZ and fill out only I-864 for yourself.

2) Can you send DS 230 along with i-864 or i-864EZ, whichever i need to fill out?

DS-230 is part of your spouse's IV (Immigration Visa) package, whereas I-864/EZ is part of your Affidavit of Support package. You may mail-out both at the same time in one big package, but separate your AOS and IV into two sub-packages.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Congrats! My answers inline.

My NOA2 date is 5/11. It may take upto 15 business days to get your file from USCIS to NVC system. I have seen many ppl who had to wait for 1 month to reach NVC.

Congratulations, please do a time line, for a guide for other filers like you..... :bonk:

Agree. Timeline is a very helpful tool to help others to understand where you stand in your immigration process. Create your timeline to help others.
