More questions, please help:

1) Do I need to file I-864 or I-864EZ? How do i determine which one i need to fill out and what is the difference between them?

2) Can you send DS 230 along with i-864 or i-864EZ, whichever i need to fill out?

Answers:

1) The answer smart84 gave you about the I-864EZ is incorrect. You can use the I-864EZ if all 3 of the following apply: you are the petitioner, you are only using income to qualify, and the sponsored immigrant is the only person immigrating on the underlying petition. It has nothing to do with needing a joint sponsor or not.

2) The DS-230 and I-864/I-864EZ are separate packages. While they can be sent at the NVC at the same time, they need to be in separate envelopes.

1) What about the Police clearance? can you get that now or do you need a some kind of letter from NVC to obtain Police clearance in INDIA?

2) with I864 EZ, do i need to include copy of citizenship certificate?

based on my research, it seems to me that in my case I-864EZ would be ok because of these:

1) I do not need joint sponsor

2) I am only sponsoring one person

3) I am sponsoring only on my income

so i think 864ez should be ok in my case but for others it may depend on individual situation.
