It' been 30 days for me and NVC have not receive anything from USCIS

 My case was approved on April 23, 2012 and NVC have not receive my case in their system. I emailed my Approval notice to NVC Research and their reponse back : Dear Sir/Madam:

Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your

inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.

Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition.

I called USCIS they said it can take up to 90 days for NVC to receive the notice??? But NVC Told me it should be only 15-30 days??

PLEASE Help! What is going on????

Most of the time they are slower than we are, hurry up and wait, hope for the best. Keep on it if you don't get notice shortly.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

This has been frustrating me a lot too, as I was told 15 business days by the NVC for a long time then after that had passed I was told 30 by them. Approaching the 30 day mark I was being told by USCIS to wait 90 days. I asked them what would change by then. I got a canned answer. So At the 24-day in mark I talked to supervisors of both USCIS and the NVC, who advised me to contact the senator as I told them I was worried as this was a time sensitive case.

Emailing your approval notice to NVCresearch@state.gov will cause them to contact the USCIS on your behalf about your petition location.

Calling the senator will cause him to contact the NVC and he'll dig deeper to find where the case is. Finally today, my case has been received by the NVC & assigned a case # after 27 days, whether or not the additional steps helped I'm not sure, but it was worth the calls. They seem really backed up lately.

To give you an idea of normal time from CSC to NVC, another constituent’s I-130 was approved on May 9 and has now arrived May 31 2012 at the NVC but has not yet been entered into the system So its taking 18-22 Business days on average to assign NVC case number.

Mine was 27 day including weekends (about 19 business days). Maybe calling the congressman made them find it 2 days later, but it's hard to say
