fiance in the philippines while processing k1?

hi! i just wanna ask about the rumors that I have been hearing that your fiance shouldnt be your country while k1 processing in on the way. in my case, my fiance and i met 4 years ago. after school my fiance is still hear doin his review for board exams and decides to come back to the states with me. can we travel both at the smae time when we go to the states?

03/27/2012- I-129F sent to USCIS

04/02/2012- NOA1 email

04/05/2012- NOA1 hard copy received

07/23/2012- finally some light! RFE via EMAIL

08/05/2012- Sent RFE reply from Philippines

08/09/2012- RFE Reply Response Review Notification Email

08/15/2012- NOA2 Approval via Email

08/22/2012- Hard copy of NOA2 received!

08/24/2012- MNL case number noted!

08/31/2012- Physical Exam at SLEC- Passed!

09/07/2012- Big Day! Interview-> APPROVED!

09/14/2012- CFO Seminar->done!

09/18/2012- Visa on Hand!, CFO Sticker DONE! YAY!!!!

10/04/2012- America Here I Come!!!

10/05/2012- Touchdown Chicago!

If she is admitted to US at POE based on her (student I assume) visa, there is nothing wrong with her being here during K1 processing.

No problem with that. But during your interview, you guys will have to go the extra mile in proving US domicile.

USCIS

10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

05/14/12 - Daughter's IV fee invoiced, paid both IV fees - "IN PROCESS"

05/15/12 - Both IV fees show as "PAID"

05/16/12 - Sent both AOS and both IV packages to NVC via USPS (expected delivery: 05/19/12)

05/21/12 - All 4 packages delivered

05/30/12 - Received checklist for daughter's AOS

05/31/12 - Sent response to checklist via USPS (expected delivery: 06/01/12); Spouse's case completed

06/07/12 - Daughter's case completed; waiting for interview date

Wasn't clear to me from the initial post who is who and where they currently are.

From what I understand now, they are both in Philippines. He is USC and she is awaiting on I129F approval.

No problem with that. But during your interview, you guys will have to go the extra mile in proving US domicile.

This is valid point.

I am the USC petitioner and am currently living overseas in Spain while the K1 process is going on. I am leaving in July to start a job in the States and to provide proof for US domicile. Your fiance will have to show proof during the interview as indicatedin the previous post. Does he have a bank account, drivers license, voter registration, or anything to establish domicile?

3/22/2012: Sent I-129F from Spain to Dallas Lockbox

3/29/2012: Packet received at CSC

4/2/2012: Touched

4/3/2012: Received Email notification of Receipt w/ case number

4/3/2012: Check cashed

4/13/2012: Received NOA1 hardcopy in Spain

7/19/2012: NOA2 approval (email and text notifications)

7/25/2012: NOA2 Hardcopy received

7/27/2012: NVC case number received

7/30/2012: NVC sent packet to US Embassy in Madrid

8/16/2012: Received packet from Embassy

8/23/2012: Received appointment letter from Embassy

8/28/2012: Interview and Approved!

8/31/2012: K1 visa received!

yes he has his drivers license, his cert of naturalization his bank account. so, are we not gonna have problems with that if he stays here while I129f processing is on its way?
