When I edited our timeline last night, I noticed at the bottom it said 900 days from NOA1 to approval. Back when I sent my petition, NOA1's were averaging 79 days, and we got ours in just over 90. What took so long, you might ask? Maybe we should have used a lawyer, but we didn't. But I don't think our I-601 Waiver would have been any more approved with a lawyer than it was without a lawyer. Man, I want to write some long, eloquent post thanking the VJ community, but if I keep going I'll be late for work, and it ain't gonna be more eloquent. I'm just so happy to say that after NOA1 from Oct 2009, on May 14, 2012 my wife's visa was approved, and now she's just waiting for her passport and the mysterious brown envelope. Thanks VJ! Pat
