Does anyone know if it's normal to miss or have a late period after you get off the pill? I was supposed to have mine 3 days ago, and I am still waiting.

Changes in level of exercise, travelling, stress and a multitude of other things can cause changes in your cycle. When I was in college forever ago when I was 17, I took a gym class the first semester where I had to run 1 1/2 miles every day. At the end of the semester, when I stopped running, I didn't have my cycle for a month and a half. Since my boyfriend and I had done nothing more than kiss, I was freaking out. I knew you couldn't get pregnant from a kiss but I still wondered what the heck was up. The doctor I went to told me it was because of the change in my exercise level. Since then the other things I've mentioned have also caused changes for me.

I guess it depends on what kind you're taking, but I was once four days late on the pill and then later got my period. I don't think it's so unusual and I suspect it has something to do with how your body is reacting to the hormones in a given month.

I guess it depends on what kind you're taking, but I was once four days late on the pill and then later got my period. I don't think it's so unusual and I suspect it has something to do with how your body is reacting to the hormones in a given month.

or.......................... ..................perhaps we'll have two me/na vj babies in 9 months!

The worst part of it was that I was due to get a visit from Aunt Flo the day after I got back from visiting my husband. So, I expected it and when it didn't come like clockwork, omg... I was having a nervous attack lol My friend came over though and mixed me up some herbal concoction that's supposed to help with matters of The Menses and my Friend Came to Town later that night

PS -- I was having weird cramps too

Actually, this would be the 4th in MENA that I can think of!

If they get more intense and are lower than your normal cramps then I'd say that's a good sign you may be pregnant. Some women get cramping when the embryo is implanting itself into your uterus. I got super intense cramps when I was pregnant...before I knew I was pregnant.

That's just your body gettin' ready for da baby.

I had wicked cramps the first month and a half of my first pregnancy. By the time the second one came I was all stretched out and ready to go!
