Hi Everyone..Yes, I know I'm anxious, but I've been looking at other timelines and am wondering why I haven't received my noa1 yet? I Mailed my I129f packet on April 23, 2012 and sent it with delivery confirmation. I received the delivery confirmation on April 28, 2012 that it was signed for. I have not received ANYTHING from them stating that they have received it even though I submitted a form requesting email notification. Can someone tell me what's going on? Thanks!!!

Welcome to the forum.

The typical wait time to get your Form I-797c, NOA1 notice can be 2-3 weeks. You do have confirmation of delivery, that is good. Have they cashed the check/money order? There have been recent forum threads noting that the G1145 email notification process wasn't always functioning properly.

Hang in there another week, hopefully it will show up.

Hi, sent ours 23rd April too and still waiting for NOA1! Got delivery confirmation so hoping we get the email soon, cheque hasn't been cashed yet either. Doesn't help much but letting you know someone else is waiting too!

NOA1s take up to 30 days to receive. The dates you see in timelines reflect what is on the paper when you receive, not WHEN it was received. If you mailed it the 23rd and they received it the 28th it may be 30 days before you get the paper in your mailbox but when you do it will say the NOA1 date is April 28 and THAT is what you will enter in your timeline. Henceforth everyone looking at your timeline will think you got your NOA1 in 5 days.

Relax. It will likely be 6 months before you hear anything after that.

Thank you for explaining this to me.... Check still hasn't been cashed yet but I will relax,,, just anxious,, but I know I still have a while to wait. Thanks again!

Same issue with me, no NOA1 yet, and they have not cashed my check yet. Anticipation is killing me. :wacko:

Your signature reads that it was delivered two days ago. Get ready to wait a week to 30 days for your hard copy letter. Email/text notifications could take a week. Your check will not be cashed the next day after delivery. It will more than likely be cashed within a couple of days of your email/text notification given that you included the G-1145 for e-notification. Look at my signature for an example.

If anticipation is killing you mere days/weeks into this process, then it's going to be a long and stressful one for you. Relax. Everything will go as planned, things just take time. Focus on other things!
