Hello Angelica!

Yes, it is normal, because your petition will not reach NVC until after your petition has been approved and you receive your NOA2. Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between June 14, 2012 and June 20, 2012*

You still have some time to wait, before your NOA2 good.gif

NOA1 was received on March 29th, but still has not reached NVC! :( Is that normal? What could be the problem? :unsure:

Are you talking about NOA1 (USCIS received petition) or NOA2 (USCIS approved petition)? :unsure:

I was approved for NOA1 on Jan. 18th

I'm confused, your timeline states NOA1 was on Jan 18th... Are you talking about your NOA1 or did you already get your NOA2? The NOA1 will not go to NVC....

I was approved for NOA1 on Jan. 18th & got NOA2 on March 29th.

Are you talking about NOA1 (USCIS received petition) or NOA2 (USCIS approved petition)? :unsure:

NOA1 on Jan. 18th

NOA2 on Mar. 29th

Hey Angelica, I received my NOA2 on April 16th and I called USCIS and was told my petition was still "pending shipment". Ever since, I have been calling to find out if it has left and everyone has been so ignorant and keep telling me to call back in 30 days. If I were you I will call and let them know it's been way over a month and your petition should have been forwarded. Be specific and ask to find the date your petition was forwarded to NVC because it was still pending shipment (which they say its when they prepare the package to be sent to NVC) .

Good luck

Oh so you did get NOA2! Definitely not within the average times the process usually handles. The only thing I can think of is to, either call USCIS and request to speak to a Tier 2 CSR... let them know that NVC claims that they are yet to receive your file, but that your NOA2 is from over 1 month back .........OR ....call NVC again and demand some sort of explanation... it's been way too long and I would be crawling on the wall if I were you!

I agree with Celeste & C.

Please update your timeline.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Angelica, you can submit a service request to find out why your petition hasn't left USCIS ( you do this through speaking to a TIER 2 Customer Service Rep) and also scan a copy of your approval notice to NVCresearch@state.gov with the subject box being your USCIS receipt number. NVC will then reach out to USCIS to find out why its taking them so long. make sure it looks like this ;

Dear Sir or Madam;

My I-129F petition for fiance was approved on April 16th 2012. I still

haven't received any notice from the National Visa Center in regards to

it being received or forwarded to the (beneficiary's country) Consulate.

Below, I have attached a scanned PDF copy of my approval notice from

USCIS to have my case research since it should have been received by

now. Any response or information to this email will be highly and

extremely appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Hope this is some useful information.

I'm sorry, I meant to say NOA2 was approved in March 29th. My case should've already been sent to NVC.
