Help do i need to buy a rt trip tkt with k1 visa

Hi... Hope everything is ok for all of you.... Today ipicked up my visa... And i want to know if i can buy a one way ticket to travel or it has to be mandatory to buy a rt ticket to go....... If someone knows p,ease help me.. Sorry if this a repeat topicc

If u have a k1 visa u can buy a 1 way ticket its totally fine but sometimes the round trip is cheaper. its up to you to buy 1 way or return ticket

Of course, you can buy a one way ticket for K1 visa.

We bought a one way ticket yesterday, just cause it was the cheaper option...FYI the agent told me I had to buy two, if they tell you that jst tell him ok thanks I will keep that in mind. But pay no attention. Not necessary !!!

If you happen to buy a RT ticket, make certain you cancel the return leg and keep that confirmation number just encase the airline sells your seat, but forgets to remove you from the manifest. The USCIS will accuse you of having left the US and it is up to you to prove that you didn't. Proving a negative is always hard as there is very little documentation. I bought a RT ticket with the return leg 89 days after the arrival so if things did not work out my then fiancee could return home before the I-94 expired. Once marriage, I canceled the return leg.
