In Packet 3 there on form DS-156 question #32 it specifiaclly asks"Do you intend to work in the United States" yes or no. If yes give name and address of employer. Yes eventually aftewr KK1 is approved and there isd a change of status my finacee plans on marrying....what shouild we check?? The K1 is a "non-immigrant visa" which is really contradictory as most fiancees plan to immigrate to the US. Any clarification on this would be wonderful!

I put Yes. For the employer question I put "not known at this stage". I thought that form was hilarious. Purpose of trip: Marry my fiance and have a life together. Duh? :)

I checked YES and entered "with authorization" You can also write "NA" It is not applicable to the K-1 visa and the DS156 is/was used for a lot of other visas
