CR1 visa finally in hand

Hello all,

We started this over a year ago. The only good things that seemed to happen was that our I-130 was approved quickly, and we had no RFEs. Then we were thrown through a loop when my husband was put into AP at his interview. Five months later, here we are, visa in hand and ready to do the POE thing. In 21 months we will again be here on VJ to sort through the ROC process...

This site has been an invaluable source of knowledge and support, and I'm truly grateful to have been a part of this community. We can only wish everyone the best in their travels and travails. This is not an easy road to follow, but it's made easier by those who have blazed before us and who come to share their experience.

Thanks be to Saylin, Floella, Maya84, jazzly, EAbbas, lambtoast, and many others!

Congrats! anything specific needed at POE or just the paperwork and visa they give you ?

I guess just the paperwork and visa. He'll be coming in via Trudeau Airport in Montreal where they do customs prior to boarding.
