-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 27: 03/23/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 31: 03/27/12: Biometrics completed.

You poll is still very young, so the numbers will still be out of whack, but I'm pretty sure the substantial majority of members here are or have adjusted from K-1 visas or CR-1 visas, with a significant minority of VWP and/or Canadian tourist entrants.

VWP = Visa Waiver Program - basically tourists from Western Europe or Australia.

I have seen those! What does VWP mean in a nutshell?

Pretty much what HeatDeath said. Certain countries have a visa waiver agreement between them that people can come and go for 3 months at a time without having to go through the process of applying for a visa. They have to apply online for permission to travel beforehand, but it's usually fast(24 hours or so) and hardly ever turned down.

Wish I had some L-1 love! At least someone to compare with. I had a lot of questions in the beginning...and L1/Canadian specific ones too :( I guess L1s are few and far between? Hmmph.
