I think VSC happened to find a lost July11 petition and they captured that in the monthly reporting...which makes everything appear off or delayed. I wouldn't worry too much about that... It will update again soon. Check the timeline stats. VJ people are being approved from December...

I hope so because I filed in September, My fiance and I are expecting our first child in Sept. I am worried he wont be here on time.

Same here. When you log in, the site seems to have been updated today showing the 5 month processing time for a K1.

Indeed just checked again and they changed June to 5 months!!! yes! looks like they was an update today :) happy days!

Ahhhhhh, the ok feeling is back again. Saw many theads last week with nay sayers and a lot of negatives; I guess they're not saying anything now because they're eating crow. In one month and two days now and everyday I'm positive and hopeful tomorrow will be our day.

Good luck and best wishes to all. I hoppe and pray that tomorrow it's your day too!!!

thanks guys for all your answers!... i dont know why its comforting to hear people's opinions.. i guess people in our situation just grab onto anything we can for comfort!

I hope this topic helps anyone else who has been wondering the same thing.

Im going to agree with the answer about the July petition!... that makes me happy lol.

Yes it helps to know there are others like ourselves, anguishing over how long its going take; I haven't even started yet! OMG!...yep, its gonna take time, but its good to ready and get help...So keep passing the help on to the next ones that will come after us!

Just Believe, and have Faith.......and follow all instructions!

Moved from K1 Process & Procedures to USCIS Service Centers forum. Current processing times at a given service center affect all petition types filed there.

Our journey:

September 2007: Met online via social networking site (MySpace); began exchanging messages.
March 26, 2009: We become a couple!
September 10, 2009: Arrived for first meeting in-person!
June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!
June 21, 2010: Engaged!!!
September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

Have you seen that USCIS has updated the processing times again? We are back at 9 January 2011. I thought last weeks news were too good to be true Oh well, at least we got to do our first service request. I am curious to see what they'll reply.

Os casos citados a cima diz que está aprovando apartir de Dezembro? meu processo está desde 18 DE NOVEMBRO DE 2011 :( estou tão triste em não ter nada nenhuma informação apenas está em ANALISE INICIAL..eu tenho medo que possa reprovar :(

tem alguém com o mesmo tempo que o meu processo?

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

06/30/12 - Hard copy NOA2 received.

07/09/12 - NVC Casefile Number and IIN Issued.

07/16/12 - Receive and Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/17/12 - Mailed DS-3032 via mail, AOS bill received via email, paid online, Optin email sent.

07/18/12 - Optin accepted and new case number, AOS marked paid, emailed AOS packet.

07/24/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

07/25/12 - IV Fee marked paid, emailed IV packet.

07/31/12 - Emailed GZO Supplemental Packet 3.

08/02/12 - Case completed and commenced final review.
