My husband and I are planning to go on a honeymoon in Mexico, probably in July. I filed my AOS last March 25th, got scheduled for biometrics on the 16th of May. Along with the AOS is also an application for travel permit. Do you guys have any idea how long before the travel permit gets approved?

Obviously it varies, but as an example, ours took 50 days. Best thing to do is just compare your timeline with others who filed at a similar time and it may give you a more accurate idea of when yours might be approved. That's what we did, it's a good indicator.

EAD and AP takes roughly 2.5 to 3 months after priority date or about 4 to 6 weeks after biometrics. It's best not to make early travel arrangements just in case there are delays in the process..

Just a word of warning - it can take longer! I filed AOS / EAD / AP end of January, receipt date Feb 3rd. I have received my EAD in April but am still waiting on my AP (been chasing it up with a service request, too, but no word yet...)

Not only not a combo card but called again today after the 15 days they told me to wait re the service request and just been told I have wait another 20 days - that'll get it up to 135 days :( Not actually planning to go anywhere at the moment but feeling like a sitting duck and the fact that my parents aren't all that young anymore and I couldn't go there if something happened makes me really uncomfortable... And my I 485 has been transferred to CSC so that will most likely not see action for another 3+ months either.

consider getting your senator/congressperson involved. it shouldn't be taking this long.

I might - but I want to at least give them the time to respond to the service request. I'm starting to wonder if they've lost my AP application - they had a typo on my name when I first got the I797 so I assume they pulled the files when I asked them to change it; who knows where it ended up after that...

From when we filed. Bu thtis was last year, maybe things have slowed down a bit, I'm not sure.
