Today my husband and I had our i-485 and I -130 interview at the Atlanta office. I just want to say a big thank you to all the people who post on VJ as it has helped me so much from begining to end. We we had a really nice woman called Officer Powell who made me feel so relaxed as I was neverous. She swore us in and went through the i-485 form and then asked how we met, when did we get engaged, married and then asked if we have any other supporting documents so we presented two utility bills in both our names and 18 pics of wedding,engagement and family pics which she asked could she keep...of course we said yes.

Then she said I am going to approve you, thank God we are just so happy. We explained that we have a holiday booked and she said do you have the booking confirmation which I did orginally put in the folder but took out yesterday as I had to email the hotel and forgot to put it back. She said that she would print out a letter stating that I was approved and if I could get a copy of the boooking confirmation today before 3.30pm they would stamp my passport so we went and got a print out and returned within 10 miutes and my passport was stamped...yipppppeee.

27th Jan - (i-485, i-130, 1-131, -1765, i864, I-693) Sent to Chicago Lockbox

2nd Feb - Text and Email notification

7th Feb NOA1 -I-797

10th Feb - Biometrics Letter received ( Appt 6 March)

14th Feb RFE - Email for Intial Evidence for I-485

17 Feb - RFE - Receieved in the post

21st Feb - RFE Returned

23rd Feb- RFE - Confirmation Delivery

27th Feb - email notication that RFE has been received

6th March - Biometrics Appointment

22nd March - Email Notification - AOS Interview for the 24th April

23rd - Appointment letter received in the mail for AOS Interview

9th April Email notificaTION THAT ead has been ordered

16th April EAD Card Received

24th April - AOS Interview....Approved on the spot. ( Total Journey 3 Months) :)

Thanking God for his faithfullness, we are happy beyond measure and I wish you all the best on your journey.

Day 1 - 04/02/2012 - Delivered!!!
Day 5 - 04/06/2012 - "Acceptance confirmation received for entire forms & routed to NBC" was sent via email.
Day 10 - 04/11/2012 - NOA for I-{130/AOS/AP/EAD} Received.
Day 15 - 04/16/2012 - NOA for Biometrics appointment Received. {Scheduled for 05/08/12}
Day 37 - 05/08/2012 - Biometrics app completed.
Day 44 - 05/15/2012 - Interview date schedule @ Dallas/Irving TX..
Day 54 - 05/25/2012 - EAD/AP production Notification.
Day 75 - 06/15/2012 - Interview'd with NO approval. 1 hr Post-interview: Received I-485/Card production email.
Day 78 - 06/18/2012 - 2nd emails {I-485/Decision/Register PR and I-130/Post-Decision} Received.
Day 81 - 06/21/2012 - Received {email of Card mailed out} and 2 Hardcopies {I-485 & I-131 approval}
Day 83 - 06/23/2012 - GC touched down. 10x Mailman.
