In case it helps, I received my NOA2 on April 14, NVC received the file on April 16, and I received my case number on April 26. I called last night around 11pm ET and they gave me the case number. I am unable to pay yet as their is no invoice. Good luck everybody!

hah...i dont think thats helping..but thanks for the info :)

Well, I was calling every day after a week and was wondering what acceptance dates were being input. I consider myself lucky that it only took 2 days to get to the NVC after NOA2. I read some posts about it taking weeks for some people. I am sure I'll get slowed down in some other part of the process! ;)

Wow! Only 2 days for NVC to receive your file! We waited 2 and a half weeks, and still no case number for us..

10/01/11 - Filed (2) I-130's

10/04/11 - NOA-1

04/05/12 - NOA-2

Your I-130 was approved in 184 days from your NOA1 date.

NVC

04/23/12 - NVC received both cases (18 days/12 business days from NOA-2)

05/07/12 - Case numbers and IIN's (14 days/10 business days since NVC received)

05/07/12 - Sent out DS-3032 by email; auto-response received

05/08/12 - AOS fee invoiced, paid - "IN PROCESS"

05/09/12 - AOS fee shows as "PAID"

05/10/12 - Spouse's DS-3032 accepted; minor child's rejected = had petitioner call NVC = received verbal acceptance from operator

05/11/12 - Spouse's IV fee invoiced

Wow! Only 2 days for NVC to receive your file! We waited 2 and a half weeks, and still no case number for us..

Yeah, I was shocked. I called the first time to ask them something and the operator said "We received your case on Monday, April 16th" and was pleasantly surprised. I saw in a few other posts that people around the same receipt date also got their case number today or yesterday. Hope yours comes soon!

anybody studying the timelines here at VJ ? once there, click on 'noa-2 date' sort, then study a bit more.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yes, I've been waiting for over a month now... NOA2 was 23rd March... NVC "received" the file on 16th April but the operator said it may take 2-3 weeks to get a case number. That's slooooooooooooooowwww!!

I got NVC case number today on email. What's about you?

It's same thing. It supposed to get first via email, then as paper letter. However you have visa number and other ID number, that gonna work for you. Good luck.

Oh guess what? My husband got the email today with the pdf file containing the printable DS 3032... but I emailed it. :)

What happened...did they accept it?

I am thinking if i should e-mail it too..i am gonna use DHL otherwise..it'll be there in no time.

Read the guides here on VJ and also ask the senior members... loads of people email the DS 3032 :) and it works. It saves time too if you email it right away. I'm waiting for the acceptance/confirmation of my DS 3032. Once it's done, they'll generate the IV fee invoice. Already paid the AOS and got the receipt too.

Something odd is going on at NVC I mean last year people were using Lings shortcuts and following that and snap snap out in speedy fashion they went.

Now its like 4 to 6 weeks it seems before people even get a case# and can even start paying bills and doing things at NVC. What happened? Who put the brakes on them? Goodness. Plz fix this before I get there in about 3 to 4 months. ;)

i printed out and signed the form with the barcode...how should i e-mail it...i can scan it,and send it after..but what should the body of the e-mail look like?

I put in there principal applicants /me/ name and date of birth,and petitioner's name and date of birth as well....

In the subject line i used our NVC case number..Anything else?
